SUBSTACK
My Substack newsletter, Love Songs Etc, is where the action is. Check it out HERE.
LIVE & IN-PERSON
Tickets are on sale now for my upcoming show at The Triple Door in Seattle. Tickets HERE.
I was thrilled to play on the mainstage at Thing Festival at Remlinger Farms in Carnation, Washington on Friday, 8/9/24. I wrote about my experiences playing Thing on SUBSTACK.
I’ve posted a handful of video clips from last March’s show at Vashon Center for the Arts to my YouTube channel.
Elaine Summers and I performed “Two of the Lucky Ones” at a fundraiser for Vashon Center for the Arts on 6/1/24. We also donated a private house concert that went for big bucks. We’re playing said house concert this Thursday (8/29/24) for an audience of twelve.
NEW RECORD
My co-producer Paul Bryan and I recently completed mixing my new ten-song album, which is currently in the hands of mastering engineer Dave Cooley. I am blessed to be joined by a fantastic group of musicians on this outing. I could not help but drop names like crazy in this post on SUBSTACK.
ON VINYL
A limited-edition 45-rpm colored vinyl single is out on Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready’s HockeyTalkter Records. “Lonely Mama” graces the A-side. Check out the new video directed by John Jeffcoat and featuring Caitlin Jeffcoat playing my birth mother circa 1970 HERE. I wrote about the writing and recording of “Lonely Mama” on SUBSTACK. “Skeleton Crew” is on the B-side. You may remember I released it as a digital single back in March of 2020.
ON CD (& STREAMERS)
The Droge & Summers Blend Volume Three is out now on compact disc. You can pick one up on BANDCAMP. We’ve compiled volumes 1-3 into one digital release called The Droge & Summers Blend Sessions (Volumes 1-3). Find it on your favorite streamer or digital store HERE.
NECKTIE SECOND
My debut album, Necktie Second, turns 30 this year. To celebrate, I shared my recollections of making the record on SUBSTACK. Later, I’ll share memories of the tours that supported the album.
I think that is all the news that is fit to print. I hope to see you over on SUBSTACK.
Peace & Love Songs,
Pete
