Toyota aired the “Star Party” Sequoia spot several times during the AFC & NFC championships. When I say this is the next best thing to the Superbowl, I am not joking. We were completely blind sided by the response. Song went to #3 on Amazon.com’s digital download chart. Album was the #2 Top Seller on CD Baby. And the lyrics from the ad were the #99 Google Top Search Trend. The music from the spot even got some love from Advertising Age’s Songs For Soap and Peter Blackstock from No Depression as well as Entertainment Weekly.

So, what next? I have begun pre-production on the score for a short documentary film by Director Justin Mitchell (Drive Well, Sleep Carefully: on the road with DEATH CAB FOR CUITE). More on this project as it develops.
